I have been pondering what a this control is in Interface Builder. It is the Custom View. I would like to know more about it, and what it does.

If you have a custom view class, pull this "CustomView" into your window and assign to it the class of your custom view.

Or you could connect it to an outlet of your controller and programmatically asign any type of view to it.
