Default Tip (Tutorial?) - More Responsive Info Buttons

So...believe it or not...I got a contract working on an enterprise level/quality iPhone App, it doesn't fart, belch, or play a game...

So my client has a kagillion years experience in the point-of-sale industry and clued me to this tiny tip...make the clickable area of the control larger than the real control.

The tip/tutorial is on my blog...I hesitate to call it a tutorial as it is so easy, but I do include source code.

Tip - enlarging the info button's clickable area

The email and tip is written "tounge in cheek" but it really is worth its weight in gold if you haven't thought of it before....

BTW...my book is out, buy it on Amazon
"iPhone SDK Programming: A Beginner's Guide
iNtervalTunes is for sale, if you workout to music buy this app.

if it isn't the best workout app for folks that do aerobics to music, then I'll eat my shorts....I believe in it that much.
Same with the book, if you wish using Interface Builder, and your a beginner to semi-beginner, if this isn't the best book - when combined with my videos - I'll eat my shorts...I believe in it that much.

To optimization the size of the touch area by 40 pixels in each angle and keep the button in the same position, try it may be resolve your query :

infoButton.frame = CGRectInset(infoButton.frame, -20, -20) .
