Dashcode just doesnt work

I have lion and xcode 4.2.1 however starting dashcode is just a non starter. Even before I went up to 4.2.1 I was having problems and was hoping the update would solve the issues but no. When ever i open dashcode it just freezes on the color spinning wheel then it just closes after few mins. If i try and open an xml file with dashcode it too freezes it is totally unusable. anyone have any tried and tested solutions. I have googled but found nothing to help me out.

Same here. I'm interested in playing with Dashcode to create widgets for iBooks. Searching the developer.apple.com yields surprisingly little. I can't even find a download for the latest Dashcode. I suppose it's packaged with Xcode (I have 4.2.1). It's not on the app store either. Is 3.0.2 the latest version of Dashcode?

Fixed it. Was a problem with iPhoto Library . rebuilt it and it now works.

In the video he mentions 2 folders I had those but as alias not original folders as they appeared on the video however I did have
"Masters" and "Previews" folders which was were the alias were from just under different names.
If your folders match those in the video the above will mean nothing if not then it will.
