Unhappy App runs on simulator but no audio?

Hi there, just joined this forum.

I just got Xcode last week and have been starting myself with simple apps in order to build up.
One of the apps i was creating involves using a button thats a png file and a short (under five seconds) mp3 file.
What happens when i run my program is that,
the iphone simulator opens up, with the button. I click it and no audio is created.

heres a screenshot of my VERY SIMPLE code and problems.

I was just wondering if i had a portion of the code wrong. Help?
Thanks.

Did you remember to connect the IBAction to your button?

Did you check if audioPlayer object is nil?
In that case, it might be better if you pass an NSError reference instead of NULL to find the description of the problem.
