Default Can you use Instruments to monitor Safari on iPhone

Hi All,

I'm new here and I must say I've been browsing threads for a while and the wealth of knowledge is fantastic.

I have a question regarding using Instruments.
I would like to navigate to some HTML5 stuff I'm working on from my iPhone and monitor memory, CPU Usage, etc for the Safari process. Write this data out to a log that i can analyze later.

Can this be done using Instruments?
If there is a better method, please feel free to reply.

Thanks in advance
P

Some instruments allow you to attach to a process. CPU monitor works for sure as I just tried it but others do not allow attaching.

Make sure safari is running then
1)select your instruments
2)click the dropdown menu beside the record button
3)attach to process
4)click mobile safari
