Default iPad Simulator - always opens at 50% scale?

I think this is the right forum for this question.

Whenever I launch the iPad Simulator it loads at a 50% scale. I can go Window > Scale and change to 75% but next time I load it loads at 50% again.

75% is really ideal on my screen as 100% won't fit properly and 50% is a bit too small. Any idea how I can permanently change the scale to 75% from 50%?

I believe you can't and a StackOverFlow discussion confirms that. Is there any way to make the iPad simulator bigger? - Stack Overflow

There is not a permanent change, but you can resize the simulator more easily with Command+1, Command+2, Command+3.
