Default Silly backward compatible question

I recently updated to ios 5 and Xcode 4.2.
I would like to make my apps compatible with ios 4.3.
So I shouldn't use any ios 5 specific code in my project?

well it really depends on which functionality of iOS5 you are referring to ~

For example, if you are talking about ARC mode, yes iOS4 and above supports it

but if you are talking about the integrated twitter capability, it's only for iOS5

Oh, cool.
I was thinking something simpler like the ability to add multiple buttons into the navigation bar.

Oh I noticed viewWillAppear & viewDidAppear etc... works in ios 5 now. I could never get it to work in ios 4.2-3. I found work arounds for it though.

Happy news.
