Islamic compass

i am looking to design islamic compass is there anything someone can advise or give information of what need to be done or where to research.
As i am new to objective C and the xcode enviroment

Do you want to show where Mecca is?
All you need is Core Location Framework, but you should know that not all iPhone models have a compass.

You just need to be to sure to set your device requirements in your app plist.
