Default Xcode 4.1 and Classes/Resources

I am completely new to the iPhone development process and am looking into working toward developing an app as a visual aid for a thesis project. I bought the book "iOS SDK Programming" by James A. Brannan & Blake Ward. I am trying to follow through the book which uses Xcode 4 for its demonstrations. I get confused though because in the navigation panel, the book shows the Folders "Classes" and "Resources" and then had files such as FileNameViewController.h and FileNameViewController.m. I am not finding this in Xcode 4.1. Can someone PLEASE point me in the direction to set up my version of Xcode so it shows the folders "Classes" and "Resources"??

The author seems to be using Xcode 3. In Xcode 4, almost all of your resources are kept in the <appname> folder and 'Supporting Files' folder. If your in the Apple Developer program you should be able to download Xcode 3 in the iOS Dev Center.

I can try that, but in the screenshots in the book, the software says "Xcode 4" in the center pane at the top.

It may be using xcode 4 for the tutorial but the project was creating using xcode 3. The old xcode 3 projects still run in xcode 4 and thats what is happening.
