Location Services API to get near by business/merchants details

Folks,

I am developing an application that should list all near by merchants and business based on the user current location coordinates. Imagine the search results will be something like Yelp or FourSquare where it lists all the places that are near by user location.

I have seen couple of API vendors like Google Places, Yahoo PlaceFinder, Yelp API, FourSquare API etc., but I am not sure which one is suggested and well recommended to use.

Appreciate if you could shared your experience on this.
