Default Simple IAd Question

So just out of curiosity with the new 4.2 iOS can we just add the IADBannerView through interface builder and not have to worry about any of the code? I currently have it all coded out in my app just to make sure its functional on devices with lower versions but I was getting mixed reports on whether or not we can just add it through the interface builder without actually coding anything from now on.
Thanks,
FullMetul

Yup, just adding it in interface builder will work.
If you want, you can change some of it's attributes such as refresh rate, but coding isn't absolutely needed.

Yes it is. The iAd will show a banner when an ad isnt loaded which apple does not want so I recommend you follow my tutorial on my youtube channel, iBradapps. It will surely be accepted if you follow the tutorial.

Stop trying to advertise your youtube channel and answer the question.
Coding isn't necessary; 2/2 of my apps with iAds were accepted without coding on the first submission, and no "empty banners" appear. If there isn't an ad, the space is just blank.

I actually used your tutorial to add the code to my app haha! The only thing is I changed the "adview.frame = CGRectOffset(adview.frame, 0, 510);" line of code to 510 so it comes up from the bottom of the screen when I offset it in - (void)bannerViewDidLoadAd: method.
It was amazingly helpful! And Thanks for all your replies on Christmas! Merry Christmas everyone!
