The service is invalid. Please check your setup and try again. HOW DO I FIX?

Almost every time I try to build and run my iPhone app on my iPod touch, I get a popup that says:

The service is invalid.
Please check your setup and try again.
(0xE8000022).

When I first signed up for the iPhone Developer Program a few weeks ago, I didn't have this problem very often, but now I have to click 'Build and Run' about 20 times before it actually works.

I've tried unplugging and plugging back in my iPod, restarting Xcode, and even restarting my computer.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Have had any luck solving this problem? I started getting this error today and when I unplug and plug my iPad iTunes goes through a long syncing process and it works for a while and then I get the error again. Strange. Anybody have any idea?
