Default iPad Simulator - Fullscreen

Hello,

After testing the iphone SDK 3.2.2, I worry about not finding out how to resize the simulator itself. Can't it be run in real size?

My screen is 1680x1050, so I hope the simulator window can be enlarged at least a bit more than default...

Thanks for hints

Thanks for reply.
You are right, there is 50 and 100%. too small and too big.
How to select a custom setting, like 80% which might fit my screen resolution for best testing view.

Thanks again

It's one or the other, you can't custom set in the current SDK. Mines 1680x1050 as well, just have to live with it (until I get that 27" iMac lol)

The simulator has never been a good representation of actual device appearance. The iPhone simulator simulates pixel for pixel what goes on the phone screen, but at MUCH lower resolution, so the physical size is much bigger. Which means designs that are clean and legible on the phone look blown up and clownish on the sim. Freaks out my designer clients no end. The end up building designs for THEIR screens that look pinched and tiny on the device.
