Default Exporting Data question

In my apps, we allow the user to export nutritional data. We do this by emailing them the information logged in a CSV file. Is there any tool that any of you are aware of that will convert this to an excel file so that we can email this attachment instead of tons of comma separated information?

Thanks to you all!

Well, if you change the extention to .csv it will open with excel (at least on windows, haven't tried on mac).

Hi there, is there a library for extracting SQL data to CSV files?

How have you done this, I asking I am about to write a freebie and need users to be able to extract their data at some point.

Thanks
