Default Xcode exporting

I am developing on my laptop, but when I get home I always make sure I keep my Desktop up to date, so I compress my project folder and put it on my other mac, but when I open the project, most, if not all of the assets are highlighted in red in Xcode, and I have to Add> existing files; to add them again, it's not such a big deal but I am also organizing my files into folders inside Xcode, so it's taking a long time to add everything back to where it should be again.

Is there any way of exporting an Xcode project without copy/pasting the files ?

What about using Dropbox? Using the Dropbox folder as your XCode development folder. Just an idea.

When you add files to the project (images etc.) you need to click the little box that syas "copy to destination"

I've always just zipped the entire directory, and I've never had any problems.
