Help with Text based game...

i was wondering would anyone know a good program/language to study to make a game like any STORM 8 game or the ZYNGA MAFIA games?...my main goal is a game like Kindoms at war or Gangs at war....if you dont know of any of the games i just listed, i want to make a game thats text based on the iphone that have chat enabled, posting on walls, attacking other players, doing quests, ect......i know its going to be very hard and time consuming but i just want to know which program i should study to eventually make this app...

im currently studying Objective-c and gonna use Xcode...but if there are any other way of making this easier for me or faster or even maybe the "right" way of making a app like that, please let me know....

I already have the idea and i know its gonna be a top hit for sure...

I too am looking to start studied in the world of Object-c and cocoa and xcode I too am looking to create a text based game similar to Dope wars or pimp wars.

what other code languages or methods are there to up smooth the process of creating the code?
