where to get graphics?

Is there a good place to find graphics (either free or for sale) that can be used to create games? I have no real skill creating my own and would like to find some collection of similar stylized items that could be adapted to a game.

Depends if you are after vector shapes, or pixel art.

I regularly use pixeljoint.com for pixel art, I do not know any vector artists though.

Remember to get a quote for retina too! This small mistake cost me hundreds.

i think you should hire someone to make graphics for you. it will cost you little more but will be specific to your requirment

I've been really happy with the response I've gotten from designers on 99designs.com but it does cost proper money to use.

Hi Maddogsoftware, thanks for the 99design.com info. Very interesting artwork market place. Just checked their website. How do you describe your requirements? Do you provide a 3 pages description?
