That idea could be rife with legal issues from the family and Apple.
You are using an unauthorized likeness of a public figure.
And, call me oversensitive, but it seems a tad bit insensitive and bad taste.
I'm not advocating the idea, but if you were going to memorialize his struggles you should make the enemies entities like IBM, Microsoft, John Scully, etc.
But even those identities present legal issues.

The RIP at the end of your post is very ironic. Do his memory a favor and create something useful and respectful.
If anyone makes a memorial app, you need apples permission. And you must keep in mind that this app will be built for millions of people. It should be free. And just a simple wallpaper of Mr. Jobs with the apple logo in the background would make it worth the download. I have had a simaliar idea but I have no skills for programing said app. And idk if I'm allowed to post links, but you guys should read about this church wanting to picket his funeral. I agree with you 1000% about the game. And not all of us want his face on our Idevices. More like I was aiming at a small iPhone or iPad app with a nice picture of him and his life span dates. just something to simple to let others know you support his cause.
