Hey i want to create a game like doodle jump but in the landscape mode.
But i dont know how to start because im new in game development can someone give me tips ?

How can i make a platform that let me jump higher ?
How can a add a pause function in the game ?

The platform question should be in the tutorial and for the pause you would create a gamestate where you would stop whatever timer is running your game.
