Default Cocoss2D for iPhone & iPad

Hi All,

By default, an game app written in Cocos2D written for iPhone, also runs on iPad natively.

How can I prevent it from running it from iPad native mode? I just want to run it in iPone/iPod Touch as I do not want my app to run in iPad native mode. I will allow user to run in iPad with iPhone mode.

Thanks.

First of all, why would you want to do that? I know people who won't buy an app if it isn't universal. It isn't hard to make cocos2d games run on the iPad natively.

Personal opinion aside, if you go to your project settings change "Device Family" to iPhone, versus iPhone / iPad. Doing so will disable iPad native mode.

Dany88 - AFAIK that isn't true. The Facebook app, for example, doesn't run natively on the iPad.

Thanks for your input and help. Yes, your solution works!

Like many great apps in the AppStore (Angry Bird HD, Plant Vs Zombies HD, etc...), I intend to create 2 versions of my app. One for iPhone and the other HD version for iPad which I intend to charge more.

Thanks.
