im making like a 2d "do whatever you want game and i need to make gravity how do i do this?? if there is a video could u give me a link? thanks

Regarding your question... from what I know, you should be taking a look at cocos2d. There are plenty of tutorials for it and you'll find all kind of things for it through google. Check it out.

i would hope this would be obvious, but since it's not, the most direct way of doing this is to accelerate anything downward that is not resting on some surface. you'll also have to make things react to surfaces they make contact with. so...you'll also need to detect collisions with surfaces and make reactions based on these collisions.

search on google chipmunk or box2d (i advice to use it through cocos2d)
