Warphing,Morphing and Cropping an Image

Hi All,

i am new in iPhone Game Developing.Currently i am doing a project.In my Project i need to use 3 techniques.They are Image Warphing,Image Morphing and Image Cropping.i don't have previous experience in the game application.if anybody give sample source code or ideas for any one technique(Image Warphing or Morphing or Cropping) also that will be appreciated.

It depends.

Do you need to have your images transformed at interractive rates ( say 20-30 times per second) or are these more like one-off types of transformations ?

Thanks for your reply.i need just some sample code how to use those techniques.Now just i need only warphing techniques.That is more than enough.i can manage other two technique.i am beginer in iPhone developing.Please guide me,How to do image warphing in iPhone.

I don't think image warping is that easy to do, lot's of math involved and stuff. You could best search around the web for some tutorials or sample code, doesn't have to be iPhone specific. I myself would use some sort of OpenGL technique, though that'd feel a bit like cheating.

I suppose best/fastest way would be to write an OpenGL shader.
Perhaps you can find some example on the internet

Shader support only comes with OpenGL ES 2.0 though right? So you couldn't target older devices using shaders.

You could have enough verticies in an image made of quads to warp it that way. Check out the following effect:

Hi Head,

I'm new to this iphone development.
I'm looking to do this face morphing things.
Is there any sample codes for doing the face morphing?
or plz give me some valuable guide line to do this.
