Half joke, half frustration. Seems game forums are rife with newbies who think developing games is as easy as playing them.

In film forums, are there threads titled "Who wants to help me make an Avatar like movie?"

In automobile forums, do people ask "I've don't know anything about cars or engineering, but I want to build a Porsche 911 in my garage. Where should I start?"

I don't want to quash enthusiasm, but start small. Like Pong small. Get that working and deployed to a phone or desktop and then think about complexity.

Halo 3 on the iPhone would be stupid, there is no way to implement all of the controls, we see this is NOVA.
