Upgradation to Mac Lion

Hello,


I am working on Mac OS 1.6.8 and I want to upgrade it to Mac OS 10.7 .
Can somebody help me in telling how to upgrade it.

10.7 requires a Core 2 or faster processor. The older Intel Core processors are not supported.

From 10.6.8, you go to the Apple Mac App store and purchase 10.7. Make sure you save the installer that it delivers before you begin the installation. Apple deletes the installer once you're done, which is annoying.

Damn, wish I had known that when I upgraded. Hopefully I won't need it...I really don't want to download all those gigabytes again >_<
