IPhone: A Way to store data online

Hi People,

I don't have any experience with online applications.
I'm developing for iPhone and I need to store some data locally and after a while, store it online (upload).
Others that will running the same app will access that data.

I need some help about:
how to store data online? what I need? one server running what? How can I connect the iPhone to this server?

you need a website with a mysql database. then you can make http requests back and forth using POST or GET.

In addition to the quoted answer - you may also need a web-services/API to expose your database to your ios application. Twitter api can be a good example to think about what you may need for your application. https://dev.twitter.com/docs
