Default Killing the main process issues

Hi folks,

My iPad app is nearly complete and I'm trying to hunt down the remaining bugs and niggles.

One thing that bothers me is that each time I quit the app fully (double click and kill the process) I get a SIGKILL error in the debugger while running on the device. I'm trying to search the forums for info but I'm not sure I know the best terminology to use.

1) What's the correct term? 'Kill the process'?
2) Is a SIGKILL report unusual when doing it in the debugger?
3) What methods are supposed to be called when a process is killed like this?

Many thanks for any help, as ever.

Dene

Normal in iOS 4 and later, yes.

You don't get ANY notice when your app is terminated. You get a notification when you are about to be moved to the background. That's when you are supposed to save your state. Once you are in the background, your app can be terminated at any time without any further notice.

Yup; doing all that. Just wanted to know if this was, indeed, correct.

Thanks!
