Question Accessing IOS settings question

Hi...
I have a quick question. I am writing my first enterprise level iPhone app. The Owner of the app wants it to be able to see if VPN is turned on in settings allow the user to enter their VPN information via a form in a view if it is not. Is this possible? or if not can we look to see if they are connected by VPN? I will appreciate any help, but if you can send i link to a online reference, that would be awesome!

Thanks

P.J.

I don't think you can easily check if VPN is connected - however you should be able to use ping or otherwise try to connect to a host that should only resolve on the VPN

Again I don't think so, however if you detect the VPN isn't up (via the method above) you should be able to open the settings app.

This page seems to suggest you might be able to open it to a specific location
