Default Simple app development help

Hi guys,

I hope you're all well.

I've been fiddling around with Xcode over the past couple of months and have found many example projects on GitHub that have been incredibly useful while self teaching myself a couple of things.

The one thing I would love to do is put together an incredibly simple app like the 'quick Turkish guide'.

To be totally honest, I've no idea where to start with this, although it looks very simple, I can't find any examples anywhere that show me how to achieve this kind of app, maybe I'm looking for the wrong things? Like all the other examples I've found on GitHub for other apps, once I've had a rummage around and seen how its done I'm fine.

If anyone can let me know how to make this kind of app I would be incredibly grateful (or maybe even send me a little example would be amazing).

I really do appreciate any help with this to get me started.

Cheers all,

Chris

Looks like it is mostly table views and text views. What part can't you figure out and/or find examples for?

Hi Brian,

Thank you for the info - I've actually now found a bit of source code that's very useful.

I do however have 1 question that maybe you can advise on.

To update the description, I can enter the text into a string field within a .plist - this works great, however, it doesn't seem to recognise the spacing between lines? can you let me know how to put in the spaces as currently is grouping everything into a paragraph! i've even tried putting in old fashioned code and it doesnt work, so if anyone can advise me, that would be great.

Many thanks,

Cheers,

Chris
