cheap push notification?
What are you developers doing for push notification.
Are there any cheap services available.
I don't want a solution that forces me to add a premium to each app to cover the service.
The app will be a baby and pet monitor and push notifications would be sent only as alerts to a problem.
The app is aimed at parents of young children, not exactly a wealthy group, I hope to sell it at .99 cents , I would have to charge more if I had to include APSN costs.
I'd like to avoid hosting my own server too.
I expect the daily transaction volume would be extremely low.
As it would alert to anomalies only, i.e.. low dB value in the child's room, extremely high dB in the child's room, panic button pushed etc.
Just curious what others are doing . I really want to include both push messages and email or sms alerts.
