Hi
In my app, when a button is pressed a looped function starts. This is in my viewcontroller.m and is the method for running the loop:
Code:
-(void)buzzButtonAction
{
for (int i = 1; i < 600; i++)
{
[self performSelector:@selector(vibe) withObject:self afterDelay:i *.3f];
}
}
That function above just keeps repeating an action. I want a button that, when clicked, terminates the looped function. It should stop the loop continuing - IE if the loop is half way though it's loop, it stops immediately rather than waiting to complete the loop it's on. Does anybody know what methods to call in the method for the button? I've tried different variations of "break". Both the method for the loop and button are in the same implementation file.
Thanks in advance,
Sam
