Approval Process for Authenticated Apps

Hi Experts,

I would like to know how's the Approval process for authenticated Applications .I mean, if application is having first login page to get inside then do i have to provide login credentials to the Apple in order to get approval.?

Another question of mine is that how i can upgrade my application with keeping my previous version on AppStore till next version gets approved .Basically when we upgrade the application the Application gets removed from Appstore till next version gets approved but i want to keep previous version till next approval.

When you upload your app you should provide Apple with a test login. (There is a reviewer comments section where you can put the username and password).

Also when you update your app the old version is still available, only once the new version is approved (and your release date met) will the old version be replaced with your update.
