Smile No longer want to support iOS 3.x for new app release

I am ready to upload the binary for a new release of my universal app to iTunes Connect. I no longer want to support iOS 3.x. I want to support only iOS 4.x going forward with this new release.

In Xcode 4.2, I have set my my "iOS Deployment Target" to 4.0 in "Project" and my "Deployment Target" to 4.0 in "Targets".

Is there anything else I need to do or be aware of? Will these settings prevent folks running older iOS versions (< iOS 4.0) from purchasing and downloading the app?

Should I mention somewhere in the app description, metadata that this app only runs on iOS 4.0 and greater?

Is there anything in Info.plist that I need to set in order to prevent downloads to older iOS versions (< 4.0)?

Thanks in advance for any any advice or feedback.

Nope, there is nothing more you need to do, but be prepared to get a few bad reviews due to current app owners not being able to upgrade. I honestly don't see why anyone would still be using iOS 3.1.3 or earlier to begin with, it's ancient.
