Changing ipad app icons

Hi all,

Having a bit of a pickle here, i want to change the app icon of one of the apps on my ipad, right i've been reading a lot of tutorials and non seem to work for me. Changing icons on your iPad (w/o jailbreaking) | Ben Schmidt

I'm using 'IExplorer' to access the files on the iPad and i've created the icon (72x72 png). But on this particular app "lasttab or google" i'm having no success.

I can't seem to find in the .app file any images specific for the ipad icon 'ipad-icon.png' etc, so i tried replacing all of the images with the one i made, rebooted and no luck, still the old one.

Does anyone have some advice on this?

This forum isn't for jailbreaking. The users that frequent this forum probably do not know how to solve your problem. Your best option is to post in a jailbreaking forum.

Oh ok yeah i'll give that a shot, although I haven't jailbreaked my ipad nor do i wish to,thanks

Oh, I'm sorry, I glanced over your post and thought your solution required jailbreaking. I see now that it does not. Either way, this forum probably isn't going to be of much help.
