Default Need to know..which language to learn to make web apps

Hello Everyone.

I have decided to take iPhone app and game development as a career as there are lots of individuals(developers) requirement in the job.

I have experience in OOP, C++, Objective-C and basic overview of iPhone sdk.

From my experience on this forum I have seen there are many skilled developers replying to the answers.

My question is that i have seen that most of the jobs are related to some back end services such as make an app that let user visit our site/ Login in our site/ purchase content through the app / etc..

Since i have no experience in networking .. i do not have any idea how to proceed with these apps.

Can anyone recommend how to start with these server based techniques in ios. Html?.Xhtml..java? ,. php? .NET?

Thanks

You are asking two questions.

Your post title is asking about web apps. But the actual post is asking about how to tie into web services. They are two different things completely.

Depending on what your app will be doing will change the approach you have in developing the app. so you need to decide on what your project will be first then wonder whether using a web app is right or using the SDK is right.

Both the SDK and web apps have ample documentation, i suggest you start at the apple website and read what the differences between the two are

have a look in the tutorials section here, a guy called Dany_Dev has written a great Web services How-To guide, should be near the top. that is a good place to start and a guide that helped me get to grips with Web services.
