I'm in the process of completing my first iphone application. Most of the work was outsourced however I'm am replacing a few files now, mainly images. Basically when the application starts up a splash screen appears for a few seconds. Afterwards an exact duplicate of the image appears however it is somewhat smaller and there is a blue background around the border. It then proceeds to the app as planned.
The problem only seems to occur when testing it on the actual iOS device and not the simulator. I do have two versions of the same image (one for each resolution) but I've tried replacing the smaller image with the larger one and the same thing still happens. The splash screen links to a website so not sure if that has anything to do with it.
If need be I'll contact the developer but I have some basic knowledge and feel like this is probably going to be a simple fix. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it
