iOS sdk 5

I've started project on xcode 4.0 an iOS SDK 4.2, now i downloaded the new Xcode and SDK. I've created a new project and when i try to release an object the compiler show an error. That is ok, but on my old project i'm using a lot of releases and I have no error. Is this ok or i have to make some changes in properties of my project?
