iOS5 spreadsheet app

Im a newbie trying to create a spreadsheet app in ios5 and was wondering what the best view controller to use is or will I have to do a custom view?

Not to trample on your goal but I doubt you'll be able to create a better spreadsheet app than Apple. If you say you are doing this to learn, start with something a little bit easier.

Yes I am doing it to learn. Any suggestions on what view controller would be best for a spreadsheet like celled view?

There is no spreadsheet type view controller, you'll have to do everything yourself. That includes keeping track of the data, creating the the lines, saving the data, and more. Really, it's a difficult thing to pull off and if you are a beginner, it's really not a good idea. I would say use a tableview with custom cells but due to an infinite amount of cells possible in a spreadsheet, it's really not viable.
