Hide contacts from address book

Hi,


1) Does anybody know of api that will let you hide certain contacts?
2) Does Apple provide the api to hide individual contacts /
individual emails / photo galleries / photo's.and individual sms's in
inbox / sent.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apple does not give you an API to hide contacts temporarily.
I gave "drunk dial no" a quick look and i assume they just store the numbers in the app, and then delete the information from the contactlist. When the time is up, the app reapplies the information in the contactlist.
