Hi,

Is is possible to have an specific application startup when you turn your IPhone/IPod Touch on?

Not in an official app store app, also fairly certain you can't in jailbreak apps either.

With jailbroken I think you could register with the startup daemon. I would guess that's how apps like Background and Winterboard and such run?

you could do that, or a dylib would work as well.

Even if you could, what a terrible idea. Every app developer would want their app to start up. It'd be like the Windows status bar.

hi, any news on this thread? why not possible on a "regular" iphone? Isn't that how AppBox operates, and it is on AppStore...
