Disable the Home Button on the Iphone/IPod Touch
Hi,
I'm wondering if it's possible to disable/enable the Home Button from an application within the IPhone and IPod Touch.
Thanks.

Defiantly not in an App Store app, probably not in a jail break app.

So, in jailbreak apps you can essentially lock a user into your app. thats cool and cruel

lol yep, you just need to inject a dylib into springboard to override the home buttons actions

Why stop at disabling it? Take over the home button and have it launch your app and THEN disable it.

lol yea you could do that. You can modify anything that springboard does and controls with the use of injecting dylibs into springboard, and having the springboard header files so you know what to call.
