GroupMail - currently in review

Hi people,

My first App is being reviewed right now: GroupMail.
This is a simple but well-performing app that uses your Contacts database to enable users to start sending mails to entire Contacts groups within a few clicks.

It will be there for $2 / EUR 1,59.

Some dutch/belgian forums already spoke about this and found it a nifty and handy app.
I'm aware that this is something Apple could have build in in the first place but since i really missed this i build it as my first project.

Let me hear what you think any feedback on the idea, pricing or if you would(n't) buy it (or not) would be great!

Who hasn't been in the situation that you quickly want to send a mail to everyone in a contacts group to inform them of something, but gathering everyone's email address proofs to be a time-consuming task?
GroupMail is designed to enable what is called QuickMailing: the ability to send a mail to multiple people simultaneous within a few clicks (without the need to assemble all contacts)!

GroupMail works with your Contacts database so the defined group-member structure will be used automatically. Just clean up or orden your Contacts information if you haven't done this yet and you are ready to use GroupMail as effective as possible!

Three step GroupMail configuration:

1 Fire up GroupMail
2 Configure the mail labels that you used for your contact's mail addresses
(GroupMail even has a Scan function to scan for used labels)
3 Set a couple of settings for your groups. When the necessary settings are filled in you've enabled QuickMailing!



From there on all you have to do to send a mail to the group:

1 Fire up GroupMail
2 Click on a configured group
* GroupMail opens up the onboard Mail application with everyone's mail filled in.

GroupMail features:
* Apple compliant look-and-feel with easy interface and helpfull hints
* uses the iPhones Contacts database for group- and member information: this dynamically keeps the group information up-to-date!
* simple group maintenance: create/edit/delete groups, add/remove members
* select which maillabels you want to use for a group (for example: Work, Home) or any address for members in a group
* send a mail as Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) or visible mailaddresses(TO)
* mail label maintenance with scanning function to quickly gather used email labels from the Contacts database
* GroupMail is localized in English, German and Dutch languages
