I personally have found the documentation from Apple to be somewhat lacking with regard to the iPhone SDK. So many new developers are migrating to the platform that have never heard of Objective-C or Cocoa. There are plenty of scattered tutorials out there related to how to get started but nothing I would classify as definitive. Thankfully, I ran across a great tutorial from Apple last night. This tutorial will walk you through your first visual iPhone application. You’ll use Interface Builder, Xcode, learn about MVC, build a controller, and build and assign a view to that controller.
