Overlay animation over other apps?
Forgive me if this is a dumb question: is it possible to design an app that places images and animations over top of the current open app? For example, if you had the map app open, could you create an app that would pop up information on top of that app without switching back and forth? I'm thinking like the gadget window on Vista... it is just hovering over top of what app is open.
I have a feeling it's not possible, but I just want to make sure.
