iTunesConnect: update an App that was never on Sale

Hi All,

I had my iPad App approved last week but i kept it off from the store because at the same time we noticed some memory problems and also typos that we now have corrected. So what i want now is to resubmit my App (which is now in "Developer Removed From Sale" status).

My question is, should i do an update (which will most probably force me to change my version to something greater than one and ask me an "update text"), or is it a cleaner way? (as my App was never on the store, so nobody have it).

If someone have experience in this it's more than welcome.
