openfeint in review

I submitted an iPhone app to Apple for approval a few days ago (Its currently "Waiting for Review"), but didn't realize until last night that in order for OpenFeint to work properly I OpenFeint has to review it also, so I submitted that for review.

If Apple approves my app before OpenFeint does, will OpenFeint not work for users until it is approved? Also, if I change my app's availability date in iTunes Connect to a few days into the future (ie when I anticipate OpenFeint approving my app), when my app does go on the app store will it start out lower down on app store searches (ie Does the App Store search use the date the app was approved by Apple or the date it became available on the App Store).
