Code size /Build size - Effects

In a way to using major of the third party libraries for any app,, (for e.g.: JSON, Coreplot... etc), I got a question as follows :

Do code size have any of the effect on the final build size. What are the different considerations affecting the build size..

Please share your views and experiences over this...

Code size is most likely going to be negligible compared to your images and any other data files that you might include in your project.
