Custom URL schemes
Hi
I'm putting together a list of the various url schemes registered by iPhone apps.
It can be used to: - Avoid clashes with existing apps
- Find apps you could integrate with
- Find apps who may want to integrate with yours
Please take a look at
iPhone apps with special url shortcuts
Add your app in the comments along with details of any parameters or a link to where you document them.
I'll integrate them into the original post.
regards
kevin

The using the same url scheme for twitterific and twitterific premium doesnt work for me. I have installed twitterific, and it worked. Then uninstalled it and installed the premium. It doesn't recognize that url scheme.
Any ideas?

In his [REDACTED] post that publicly demo'd the url schemes Craig Hockenberry mentions this issue:

Also, be aware that deleting an application can sometimes leave the URL registration database in a state where it no longer recognizes a scheme (rdar://problem/6045562). This only happens when two applications support the same URL scheme, so you can avoid the problem by using a unique scheme name. Please use the Radar bug ID# for a “me too” bug report if this becomes a problem in your own application.

Thanks for the link.
The article does not show how to make the app recognize the url scheme once it has been deleted.
Any ideas on this? Do I need to restore the phone?

I guess you may need to reset it to the state it was in before you installed the 'lite' version. But it's a guess
