Problem with HTML page viewed from App

Hi all

I have an app that reads from an RSS feed. Click on an item in the feed and it opens up the relevant HTML page.

When I have just text on the HTML page it opens perfectly.

However, as soon as I add an image (before I even try and do anything like centre it) and open the page the text appears, for an instant, then disappears and only the image remains.

This only happens the first time I open the page after starting the app. On subsequent visits to the page it displays perfectly.

This only happens on the iPhone (don't know about iPod Touch) and works perfectly on the iPad.

Any idea why it should display incorrectly on the iPhone? I am guessing it is an HTML problem but can't see what.
