With the upcoming release of the iPhone SDK, there will undoubtedly be many versions of popular applications written for the device. Which do you think will be written the most? Personally, I'm banking on about 100 Twitter applications and about twice as many GTD (Getting Things Done) applications.
Yes!!! Good call buddy. I suspect, and pray, that Google will port Google Reader to the iPhone. If that happens, I'm all set on the RSS reader front.
I've been using googles reader mobile version since day one. not much else i could ask for except offline caching (google gears for the iphone anyone?)

iPhone Apps:
I have a big gripe with their mobile version. It's not easy to mark individual items as read. I can mark all of the items on the screen as read, or I have to go in to each item and mark it individually. What they need is an easy way to "j/k" it and keep some starred for future reading.
i can see how that might improve things. i've settled into "my way" of consuming feeds i check regularaly through "reader" which invovles doing as you mentioned above.. scanning the page of topics, entering into each topic that peaks my interest, starring that page if need-be, then backing out to the list and marking all as read etc..etc.. it works but only because i'm used to the flow. If google doesnt make one i'm sure someone else will. i believe google has apis for reader. maybe even cocoa apis if i recall correctly.
