iPad or iPad 2 programmatically

Can anyone tell me how to programmatically differentiate between iPad 1 and iPad 2? My app takes a lot of memory for certain things so I would like to cut some things out if the user is on the original iPad but include it if they are on iPad 2. Thanks!

FWIW:

[[NSProcessInfo processInfo] processorCount] returns 2 on an iPad 2 and 1 on an original iPad.
